Through a combination of Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify patterns, build self-awareness, and develop practical tools for lasting change.

I am Myea Hunt, LPC-S, LCMHC, NCC, a dedicated mental health therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals across the lifespan—from children to adults—through life's challenges. I am licensed to provide therapy in Texas, South Carolina, and North Carolina, and I am available to provide supervision for LPC-Associates in Texas who are working toward licensure.
My work focuses on helping clients navigate stress management, family conflict, relationship issues, career concerns, and anxiety. I specialize in working with BIPOC young adults and women, integrating culturally responsive care with biblical principles to foster healing and personal growth. My approach is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practices, and faith-informed counseling, creating a space where clients can explore their struggles while aligning with their values.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings, including education, mental health treatment, and child protective services. This broad experience allows me to provide well-rounded, tailored support to each individual. My goal is to empower my clients with the tools they need to thrive mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
As an LPC-S in Texas, I am also passionate about mentoring the next generation of therapists and am available to provide clinical supervision for LPC-Associates pursuing their independent licensure.
